I saw good few laminitic horses and ponies and he looks anything like it...

Vectorom - how did your TB get diagnosed with deep bruising? Was it found by a farrier? How lame was he/she? Was it on all legs?

HorseOfCourse - well. I can't really air the ins and outs on a public blog but let me say, I am rather surprised nothing showed too...
I am tempted to test the blood samples taken at the initial vetting but it's very costly. The return is not easily possible unless we go the legal proceedings route. However, as it is, it's near impossible to prove when, how and what really happened to cause such massive performance/soundness loss.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14036104794835542928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137999367218100398.post-5850821774015849082009-09-26T13:01:41.676+01:002009-09-26T13:01:41.676+01:00No laminitis was nice to hear. I really do hope they find out WHAT it is though.
I must say I find it strange that nothing of this showed at the vet check.
Is a return possible?HorseOfCoursehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15907659164579327290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137999367218100398.post-68276803273909226682009-09-26T01:04:39.013+01:002009-09-26T01:04:39.013+01:00Wow puzzling still but fantastic news! I don't know if this helps as they are all so different but I did have a TB who would get deep bruising especially foxhunting in northern Va (the ground is like cement that time of year with lots of rocks). I kept him in honeycomb pads that were riveted to his shoe prior to his shoe being attached. We called them his 'running shoes', though a walk was much more his preference. Anyway, hope Kingsley is on the up side of things soon. Hava great weekend!

tailwindssouth.blogspot.comVectormomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04877291527910704957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137999367218100398.post-30906160139512222022009-09-26T00:04:51.267+01:002009-09-26T00:04:51.267+01:00Very glad no laminitis - and good as well that the...Very glad no laminitis - and good as well that the inflammation seems to be improving, according to the vet. I expect the hand walks are helping as well. Hope he continues to improve!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
