If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can't, you're right.
I'm a self-employed riding instructor (BHSAI/Int.Teach.) and started this Diary in July 2007 to record the process of becoming who I want to be - a successful trainer, teacher and rider. The Diary is not here to just happily frame my glorious moments (if they ever happen that is!). It is here to trace my steps, good and bad, wise and stupid. It is also here for me to ramble about my life and the things I care about.
That's 2 years gone. Big Thank you to all who read, email and comment. Thank you for your support and I hope you will stay around :) I am enjoying reading your posts too so keep on blogging.
I'm a self-employed riding instructor (BHSAI/Int.Teaching)and live in London with my partner who is the cheekiest human being on this planet and whom I love greatly. He doesn't care much about horses, think they should all be let free and calls skewbalds - screwbalds...
I had early lessons with an army trainer at the age of 10 on an ex-race horse, then specialised very quickly in show-jumping and represented one of Polish National Stallion Depots as a Junior and Young Rider. It took me a while to learn to ride with longer stirrups (!) but I am now very much into all three main disciplines: SJ, Dressage and Eventing.
In 2003, on the day I presented my master dissertation at Uni I flew to the UK to take up a one year contract schooling horses in Surrey and never went back. My long term aim is to run my own small, professional training academy/centre where I could teach aspiring riders and train young sports horses.
Biggest dream - high quality coaching and Olympics of course!
Not much to ask is there???!
